Cheesy Baked Potato Stacks
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
4 tbsp melted butter
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a muffin tin or use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Prepare the Potatoes:
In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced potatoes with melted butter, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated.
Layer the Potato Stacks:
Arrange the potato slices in stacks and place each stack in a muffin tin cup or directly on the baking sheet.
Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese between the layers as you stack the potatoes.
Top each stack with a generous amount of cheese.
Bake the Potato Stacks:
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the tops are golden brown and crispy.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Carefully remove the potato stacks from the muffin tin or baking sheet.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
